To give effect to this provision, it has been necessary, under Section 6 of the present Ordinance, to amend Section 14 (1) of the Principal Ordinance by omitting therefrom the words "other than a bachelor". Sub-sections (3), (4), (5), and (6) give effect to the instructions contained in the 3rd and 4th paragraphs of Your Lordship's last quoted Despatch.

12. Schedule 'A' to the Ordinance contains the rules forwarded in Mr. Lyttelton's Despatch No. 165 of the 24th August, 1905, and the tables approved in the 13th paragraph of his Despatch No. 62 of the 7th April, 1905.
